Community and Culture at St. Anthony’s Multicultural Festival
A Hightstown celebration of culture, language, food, faith, and the ties that bring neighbors together.

Ryan Michael Kelly joined neighbors at St. Anthony of Padua’s Multicultural Festival in Hightstown on Saturday, September 12.
The celebration brought parishioners and community members together to share food, language, culture, and traditions.
One message from the day’s homily especially stayed with Kelly: differences in culture, language, food, and tradition do not have to divide a community. They can be opportunities to learn from one another and strengthen the bonds between neighbors.
“We could all use more opportunities to listen, learn, share a meal, and remember how much we have in common,” Kelly said.
As a Catholic and a Hightstown resident, Kelly thanked the parishioners, volunteers, and community members who put so much work into bringing people together.
Different backgrounds. One community.
