You’re too busy for Washington’s dysfunction. I’m not.

I’m Ryan Michael Kelly, an Independent candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s Third District. I’m running to fight for affordability, accountability, and a government that works for working people and actually listens to the communities it serves.

What I’m fighting for

Affordability

People should not be crushed by healthcare costs, student debt, housing pressure, or everyday bills.

Accountability

No one should be above the law — not presidents, agencies, corporations, judges, or Congress itself.

You, the People

As an Independent, my loyalty is to the people of NJ-03 — not party leadership, consultants, donors, or political revenge.

A government that works for working people

Universal healthcare. Stronger workers’ rights. Affordable housing and education. Civil rights and due process. Peace instead of endless war. Real accountability when government or powerful interests fail the public.

Why I’m running

I’ve spent my career in public service, education, and civil-rights oversight. I’ve seen government at its best—and I’ve seen what happens when institutions stop listening, oversight disappears, and ordinary people are expected to absorb the consequences.

Families across NJ-03 are dealing with housing costs, healthcare bills, student debt, utility costs, threats to civil rights, and a government that too often seems more responsive to powerful interests than working people.

I’m running because government should help people live with dignity—and because Congress needs people willing to ask hard questions, follow the evidence, protect rights, and actually do the work.

Government should help people live with dignity.
