Students Get a Firsthand Look at Campaigning at Rowan University
At Rowan University's Political Campaign Volunteer Fair, students met campaigns, asked questions, and explored ways to take part in the political process.

Ryan Michael Kelly joined students at Rowan University for the Rowan Institute for Public Policy & Citizenship's Political Campaign Volunteer Fair, where students could meet campaign representatives and learn more about participating in the political process.
Kelly attended alongside Ian, a current Rowan student who volunteered to help represent the campaign. Students stopped by to talk about campaigns, public service, policy, and civic engagement while learning about ways to gain firsthand experience with a federal congressional campaign.

The campaign recently expanded its Student & Young Volunteers initiative after hearing directly from high school and college students who wanted opportunities to learn how campaigns and elections work. The program gives young people ways to participate based on their interests and experience, including voter outreach, communications, research, policy, and event support.
During the fair, a Rowan student also sat down with Kelly for an impromptu interview about constituent service, working across political divisions, and what happens to the concerns Kelly has heard from residents across NJ-03 regardless of the election's outcome.
