Two Festivals, One Day of Community in Hightstown and Hamilton

From the Hightstown Harvest Festival to the Hamilton Irish Festival, Ryan spent October 3 meeting neighbors, enjoying local traditions, and listening in Hightstown and Hamilton.

October 3 was a full day in the community, beginning close to home at the Hightstown Harvest Festival and continuing later at the Hamilton Irish Festival.

In Hightstown, Ryan walked through downtown, saw familiar faces, met neighbors, and spent time among local vendors and families. Hightstown is home, and community events like the Harvest Festival are a reminder of the people and small businesses that give the borough its character.

Later in Hamilton, Ryan joined families and neighbors for an afternoon of music, food, Irish heritage, and community. The kilt came out for the occasion.

Across both events, the most important part of the day was simple: showing up, talking with people, and listening. Community is built in those everyday conversations.
